As of January 1, 2018, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implemented a Value Added Tax (VAT) rate of 5% which was later increased in the summer of 2020 to 15% to all tuition and educational supplements, this includes funds added to student accounts. This is not an additional cost but rather a government mandated tax. Saudi Nationals who provide their family national number are exempt from paying VAT.

Any applicant holding a Saudi passport must apply using their Saudi passport. Applicants from other nations should use the passport connected to their Saudi visa (e.g., Iqama).

Kuttab does not currently offer bus transportation. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for their children. To ensure student safety, families, drivers and nannies are allowed into the school building upon presentation of valid credentials.
Schools hours are from 7:30 AM to 3 PM. Weekends are Fridays and Saturdays and summer hours are limited.
The first day of classes for the 2021-22 school year is Sunday, August 29, 2021. The Kuttab International Schools calendar consists of instructional days and the required local holiday. The last day of school for the 2021-22 school year is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Kuttab International Schools requires students to wear school uniforms and must follow the student dress code.
All students bring their own food to school each day and eat breakfast and lunch in their assigned Dining Hall, where they are supervised by teachers and support staff.
Families are required to have internet access at home so that students may access learning resources outside of regular school hours and during scheduled Virtual Learning days. An important component of Kuttab’s learning program is the blended learning platforms. Kuttab utilizes several blended learning platforms to extend learning beyond the classroom. The main communication and collaboration platforms are Zoom and Educore. Student access to these services at home is essential for students to continue to work on assignments, to collaborate with peers and teachers, and learn what they missed in classes after absences.
